Nodus IPTV support
What Nodus is
Nodus IPTV is a player for LG webOS TVs. Nodus provides no channels, films or series, and does not sell or recommend IPTV subscriptions. You bring your own playlist from a provider you are authorised to use. A small demo library with a sample video lets you try the app first.
Getting started
- Open Playlists in the main menu and choose Add playlist.
- Choose Xtream account (server address, username, password) or M3U link (the playlist URL from your provider).
- Focus a field and press OK to type. Choose Save. Large playlists keep loading in the background; Home shows the progress.
Remote basics: arrows move, OK selects, Back goes back one step. Hold OK on a live channel to add it to favourites. The Magic Remote pointer works too.
Common questions
My playlist will not load. Check the server address and login with your provider. Nodus shows the provider's answer, for example a wrong password or an expired account. If the provider is down, your saved library stays as it was.
A channel or film does not play. Playback depends on the stream your provider sends and on the formats your TV supports. Try another channel; if none play, contact your provider.
It says too many connections. Your provider decides how many devices can stream at once.
The programme guide is empty. The guide is off by default. Turn it on per playlist in the playlist menu. It only shows data your provider publishes.
Kids profiles show something unsuitable, or hide too much. Kids profiles are a convenience filter, not a guarantee. Nodus does not provide, review or rate any content. A kids profile shows a title when a parent allowed it, or when its age rating is within the profile's age limit; if your provider and TheTVDB or Wikidata disagree, the higher rating counts. A title with no rating is shown only if it is in a group recognised as a kids group and the parent turned that option on. Titles a parent blocked are always hidden, and titles marked as adult are hidden unless a parent allowed them. Ratings and group names come from third parties and can be missing or wrong, so unsuitable content can still appear. Parents and guardians remain responsible for what children watch. A parent can allow or block single titles and whole groups in the kids profile settings. Set a PIN so children cannot switch to an adult profile.
I forgot the PIN. Nodus has no PIN recovery yet; after several wrong tries it waits before the next one. Email us and we will explain the options for your TV.
Your data
Your playlists, logins, profiles and history are stored only on your TV. Nodus has no account, no ads and no analytics. To remove data, delete the playlist or profile in the app. See the privacy policy and the Terms of Use for details.
