Nodus IPTV Terms of Use
Effective date: 2026-11-05
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Nodus Ltd ("Nodus", "we", "us"), the publisher of the Nodus IPTV app ("the app"). By choosing Agree in the app, or by using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Nodus is a player only
Nodus is a media player. It does not provide, host, sell or distribute any channels, films, series or streams, and it gives no access to any content. To watch anything, you add your own playlist from a provider you choose. We do not sell IPTV subscriptions, we do not bundle playlists, and we do not partner with or refer you to IPTV resellers. If paid features are offered in the future, they will unlock app features only, never content.
Your responsibility for content
You alone are responsible for the playlists and content you add. By adding a playlist you confirm that you own it or are authorised to use it, that you will follow the laws that apply to you, and that you will not use Nodus to watch, copy or share content without the rights holder's permission. We have no relationship with the providers of the playlists you add, and showing a playlist in Nodus does not mean we endorse it.
Kids profiles
Kids profiles are a convenience filter, not a guarantee. Nodus does not provide, review or rate any content. A kids profile shows a title when a parent allowed it, or when its age rating is within the profile's age limit; if your provider and TheTVDB or Wikidata disagree, the higher rating counts. A title with no rating is shown only if it is in a group recognised as a kids group and the parent turned that option on. Titles a parent blocked are always hidden, and titles marked as adult are hidden unless a parent allowed them. Ratings and group names come from third parties and can be missing or wrong, so unsuitable content can still appear. Parents and guardians remain responsible for what children watch.
Third-party services
Nodus can show film and series details from TheTVDB, age ratings from Wikidata and subtitles from OpenSubtitles.com. This information comes from those services as it is. It can be incomplete or wrong, and a service can change or stop at any time. Their own terms apply to what they provide.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on TVs you own or control. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows this.
Price
The app is free. If we add paid features later, we will show their price and terms before you buy anything, and you can keep using the free player without paying.
Your data and device
Your playlists, logins and profiles are stored on your TV, not with us. They are not protected by hardware encryption, so keep your TV and home network secure. Our privacy policy explains what the app stores and sends.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will work with every provider, stream, format or TV, that it will run without interruption, or that it will meet your needs. This does not affect your rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including loss caused by content you access, by your provider, or by a third-party service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Claims about your content
As far as the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs if someone makes a claim against us because of content you added or because you broke these terms.
Copyright complaints
Nodus does not host or store any media content. If you believe content reached through the app infringes your rights, email info@nodus-ltd.co.uk with a description of the content, where it appears and how to contact you. We will cooperate in good faith with rights holders.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you seriously break these terms. The sections on your responsibility for content, limitation of liability and claims about your content continue after the agreement ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, the app will ask you to agree to the new version before you continue.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protections of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts.
General
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. The LG Content Store's own terms also apply to how you get the app.
